More than a feeling

REASON TO KEEP QUIET IN CHURCH

A mother was giving instructions to her three children as she sent them into Sunday school, "And, why is it necessary to be quiet in church?" Her son quickly responded, "Because people are sleeping!"  :-o

I've been feeling an urgency to reach out; expanding my witness for Christ. Maybe this could be an explanation.

Knowledge Shall Increase
Daniel 12:4 ...'even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.'

Wars and Rumours of Wars
Matthew 24:6-7 ...'And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.'

Famine and Earthquakes
Matthew 24:7 ...'and earthquakes, in divers places.'

Being Killed for Your Faith
Matthew 24:9-10 ...'Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Increased Sin
Matthew 24:12 ...'And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.'

People Shall be Lovers of Themselves
2 Timothy 3:1-5 ...'This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.'

Please get your Bible and look up these scriptures to make sure of the context.

Much Love, Dennis

  1. I was just talking about this with a nurse at St. Marys. I'm with you Dennis. I think the time is short.
