natural disaster

Three men are put against a wall to be shot. The first man says "Tornado!" in a desperate attempt to get away. The shooters look behind them to see if it's true, while the man escapes. The second man yells "Earthquake!" The shooters look for cover while the man gets away. The third person yells "Fire!"

 

 

I've always been somewhat leery about people who referred to disasters and bad circumstances as an "Act of God". God is not the author of evil. Even insurance companies have certain situations that they will not cover because they use the term "Act of God".

God is always good and never evil after he offered all people the opportunity to accept His Grace through Jesus. I'm not a Bible scholar, but I just don't see God  punishing people when he tells us that he will never leave us or forsake us. There are many Scriptures to back up my position.
